Module 1- Basic Principles of Dietetics


Examine what perfect health means and how to achieve it according to Ayurveda.

Learn concepts of healthy and unhealthy foods.

Understand the role of food in creating desirable changes in the body and mind as well as the structural path of a developing disease.

Module 2 -Laws of Ayurvedic Dietetics


Understand the effect of food on the human body through knowledge of properties.

Learn to plan a balanced meal outline for different goals; what foods to select, how to consume, food combinations and nutritional requirements according to Ayurveda.

Module 3- Digestion, Metabolism & Nutrition


Learn to identify abnormalities at different stages of digestion, metabolism and assimilation of nutrition to maximize proper absorption.

Understand abnormalities presented in the body from undigested foods and lowered immune function.

How constitution effects digestion and immunity.

Management of health with food and individual or seasonal regimens.
